Boots 01. The first 303 Avenue boots.

Autumn and winter styling cannot do without the right footwear. We replace summer sandals, flip-flops and sports shoes with leather boots, cowboy boots and jackboots. To meet the high demands of our female customers in the autumn-winter season 21/22 we introduced the first 303 Avenue leather shoes to our offer. Classic leather jackboots are a must have for your autumn wardrobe. 

The project was created in collaboration with the friendly company Cavalcatore. Leather shoes, refined to the smallest detail, of the highest quality, durable and elegant, are the hallmarkof the brand. The owners of Cavalcatore -Justyna and Bartek Barancewicz - tell us about their passion for creating unique shoes.

How did the idea for your brand come about?

The idea of producing shoesówas born more than 10 years ago. After many visits in Polish shops and unsuccessful search for dream shoesóAfter many visits to Polish shops and unsuccessful search for the shoes of our dreams, a slightly crazy idea emerged: why don't we create the shoes ourselves, whichóthat we like? We took our first steps to the Mecca of footwear - Italy. Hence the name of the brand - Cavalcatore - Italian for rider.

The name is Italian, but your shoes are made in Poland.

Yes, the cooperation with the Italian partners did not go as we wanted. That is a subject for a separate story. But we thought: if not Italy, sprólet's try it in Poland. From the very beginning we assumed that the shoes had to be of the highest quality, the soles had to beóThe soles have to be leathered and sewn. As it turned out, nobody in Poland had a machine that would make it possible. So we decided to lease it - after a month the machine was already at our subcontractor's. But that was not the end of the difficulties. As a result, we had to educate ourselves and teach the subcontractors.ów. This was a valuable lesson. We understood that the creation of shoesóat a distance does not work. Each delivery was like a "surprise egg" - you never knew what you would find inside. That is why two years ago we decided to open a studio in Warsaw and we created a team of talented craftsmenów. We started to sew shoes by hand, using traditional methodbelt method. We constantly try to refer to the traditional craftsmanshipa.

What else makes the shoes you create stand out?

We try to make our designs minimalistic and devoid of unnecessary additionsóthanks to which they are timeless. We call it classic minimalism. For the production of shoesóWe use natural materials of the highest quality for the production of our shoes. The priority is the rightóchoice of materialsmaterials. We do not take shortcutsóshortcuts. We start from quality and the price is a derivative of that. One of the main assumptions of the studio is to provide the highest quality of the product so that, among other things, we canóIt can be used for years. Therefore, we put emphasis on a long product life cycle. For the production of shoesóWe use the best quality leather forómainly vegetable tanned or chrome-free. Cavalcatore's policy is toóalsoósustainable developmentój. We do not produce for the shelf, we do not haveóstocksóand footwear. The designs refer to timeless classics, combining delicate forms with light elegance. Equestrianism has always been associated with an elite and elegant lifestyle. Today, this style is reflected in the collections of many designersóOur products can also be used in everyday life.

The jackboots, created for 303 Avenue, fit perfectly into this trend. 

The boots for the 303 Avenue brand have been made from soft black leatherócalf leather from an Italian tannery. The inside of the shoe is made of calfcalf furócalfskin with velour finish. All elements of the shoe - insole, insoles, heel stiffening, reinforcement of the tip.ósoles and heels - are made of leather.óleather. Thanks to that the shoe fits the foot perfectly when worn. To ensure long life of the jackboots, the soles are sewn and split, which definitely makes the product unique and refers to the old tradition of handicraft shoe-making.

You produce riding boots, but not only. How does the experience you have gained from making bootsóhow do you translate the experience gained in the creation of riding boots into the production of "everyday" boots??

From the beginning, we have created two lines of footwear. Riding boots and long boots for everyday use. They are made of thicker leather and are designed to withstand heavy use. They are made of thicker leather.ór. They have stiffer uppers and stronger stiffeners. They have a different angle of inclination. In our "civilian" jackboots we use all the knowledge we have gained through riding. We create boots that are comfortable, softer but also durable.
